The Delhi Congress president and MP Jai Prakash Agarwal said the Congress will emerge victorious in all the three Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections. He said that the people were fed up with the corrupt rule of the BJP in the MCD, and wanted relief from their misrule, and were looking at the Congress Party to provide a stable and corruption-free rule in the MCD. Agarwal said this while addressing a public meeting after a padyatra at the Bhatti Mines area in Mehrauli. The padyatra and the meeting were organised by Rajinder Singh Tanwar. Prominent others present were Maniram, Balkishan, Jhanghi Ram, Kashmir Singh, Hira Lal and Sarsuddin.
