Thousands of Congress workers and leaders paid floral tribute to Indira Gandhi on the 27th death anniversary of the former Prime Minister at a function organised by the Delhi Congress Committee (DPCC) at Rajiv Bhawan on Monday.

On the occasion, DPCC president and MP Jai Prakash Agarwal said Indira Gandhi was a leader of the masses who could be trusted to safeguard the interests of the poor, downtrodden, underprivileged and the common people. Ramesh Kumar, MP, and other leaders of the Congress, including Naseeb Singh, and Jitender Kumar Koachar, were present, according to a DPCC release.
