Delhi Congress president Jai Prakash Agarwal, who is also the MP from the North East Delhi parliamentary constituency, on Wednesday inaugurated the covering of a drain of 1,400 metres at Seva Dham Road in Gokulpuri Assembly Constituency. Around `2 crore 70 lakh would be spent for covering the drain from the Trans-Yamuna Development Board budget. On the occasion of the inauguration of the drain work, Trans-Yamuna Development Board chairman Dr Narendra Nath was also present. Besides this, the repair work of a road at Seva Dham Road at cost of `92 lakh was also inaugurated, the work of which will be carried out by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, according to a DPCC release.
